Traveling East. Last year, Western Europeans escaped heat waves and tourist crowds by flocking to the Nordics, sparking the trend of coolcations. This holiday season, the spotlight has shifted eastward, with Albania emerging as a particularly hot destination. Mediterranean climate, stunning beaches, majestic mountain peaks, affordable accommodations, and a delightful fusion of Italian, Greek, and Turkish flavors alongside promising festivals (UNUM, ION, etc) - what's not to like? Rejection Therapy is TikTok’s latest must-try treatment. The platform overflows with users sharing their challenges of facing daily rejection for a set number of days. From requesting to make an in-flight announcement to asking a mattress store if they can sleep over, and – this one hits particularly close to home – going through a flat-search in Amsterdam. The aim? To conquer the fear of rejection in all its forms—side-eyes, stares, mockery, reprimands. Originating from a card game by Canadian entrepreneur Jason Comely, #RejectionTherapy is now spearheaded by TED Speaker Jia Jiang.
