Konnichiwaaaaa! This week Ilze was busy bopping around Tokyo…. thus none of the usual weekly dose of trends

since you tuned in, you shall be rewarded – Ilze did some creepy sneaky observing, so here’s an 💥exclusive💥 snapshot of what’s hot on the streets of Tokyo. 🇯🇵
Firstly, Tokyo is one of the few places where guys are serving waaaaaayyyy more than the girls. Issey Miyake would be proud!!
👞Shoes: It’s the land of Onitsuka Tiger, so naturally a lot of them. But also tons of New Balance, Chuck Taylor All Stars, Vans checkerboard slip-ons, Salomons, and—plot twist—On sneakers.
🎩Accessories: Carabiner keychains, baseball caps, and blue-tinted glasses.
💼Bags: Not much tote action. Instead, more Topologie cross-body gorpcore-y types.
👖Pants: Tokyo boys understood the assignment—baggy, flared, straight, but never-ever skinny. The ultimate kings wear slappy upcycled pairs.
🧥Layers: Flannel shirts, fuzzy, slouchy ombre sweaters, a pop of color cardigans. Bomber jackets, and puffer vests, but not the financebro vibe. Hoodies? Mostly Champion. Plus, loads of The North Face Purple Label (Japan-exclusive sub-label, FYI)
