Hey - it’s Ashe on the intro. I’ve been trying to get back into doing things just for fun. Not for self-improvement, not for health, not for capital - just for the sake of doing them.
I’ve been wanting to carve out time for things that don’t necessarily “matter” in the grand scheme of things, but still bring joy. Just pure, unfiltered creativity.
So, naturally, I started assembling keychains out of fish lures.

It came to me in a dream - I say prophecy. With a bit of research for supplies, turns out I was not the first. But I’m not here to have the idea first, I’m here to follow through the silly projects that bring me joy. And it has!
Hours spent hunched over, prying off fish hooks (with a few minor injuries along the way), completely losing track of time because I was too focused and having fun. It helped that my friends liked them enough to ask for a few.
Maybe one day you’ll spot me in the streets as your local fish(keychain)mongerer.

Overexposed food pictures
When did we - restaurateurs and diners alike - collectively decide to start snapping meal pics with the flash on? Throw in miso aubergine on metallic plates and a childishly scribbled logo, and you’ve got the natural wine bar formula down pat.

Split pics
On the topic of images - this horizontal split layout is popping.

Recession (messy) hair
The dark blondes are letting their roots show, and the greys are silverfoxing. Gotta cut costs somewhere (just not on dining out, lol), so why not on fewer trips to the salon? Or better yet, skip the hair routine entirely. Messy and static stole the show at Prada’s latest runway. Ditch the comb and let your pillow handle the styling.

Floodlighting
We’ve all experienced that moment when someone makes the whole table sink into uncomfortable silence by dropping an overly personal detail. While not limited to romantic relationships, this phenomenon, called floodlighting, is the latest topic on DatingTok. Cuz we like fancy terms.
Coined by author Brené Brown, it’s when people share traumatic experiences or deeply personal details too early in a relationship, usually to create intimacy, but it just makes the other person uncomfortable and pushes them away.
Serving in Poland (When You Turn 19)
The “19th Birthday in Poland” meme took off after a March 7th, 2025 tweet joked that in Poland, turning 19 meant being tested to see if you could “serve” - a reference to the country’s mandatory military service.
Stan Twitter quickly ran with the phrase. Fans began sharing videos of their favorite pop stars, actors, and public figures absolutely serving alongside captions like “Polish people when they turn 19” or “she celebrated her 19th birthday in Poland.”
Sweet Potato Beef Bowls
The latest meal taking over TikTok? Sweet potato beef bowls.
A mix of cottage cheese, avocado, taco-seasoned beef, and roasted sweet potato, all topped with a drizzle of hot honey; it’s allegedly a great balance of protein, healthy fats, and carbs. Macro-friendly but actually tasty, presumably.
Soda & Salty Fries: The Migraine Cure?
People are swearing by an unusual (but maybe not new) headache remedy - slurping a crisp cold soda and eating salty fries.
The theory? The combo helps replenish electrolytes, caffeine constricts blood vessels, and the sugar gives a quick energy boost.
While some say it works like magic, others think it’s just placebo (or an excuse to hit the drive-thru). Be sure to get full sugar soda for the migraine-healing properties though - cause sugar-free ones can exacerbate it!
Oh my dear f*cking gawd it worked. The damn coke and French fries worked.
